近所を歩いていたら、電線近くにある四角い鉄パイプの中から、スズメさんのヒナの鳴き声が聞こえてきました。
親鳥がそこに飛んでいくのが見えました。
以前から、その場所でスズメさんが営巣しているのは知っていました。
現在は二番子の育雛中なのだと思います。
暑くなりますが、元気に巣立ってほしいです。
While walking in the neighborhood, I heard the chirping of Eurasian Tree Sparrow chicks coming from inside a square metal pipe near the power lines.
I saw the parent bird fly over to the spot.
I had known for some time that Eurasian Tree Sparrows were nesting there.
I believe they are currently raising their second brood.
It is getting hot, but I hope the chicks fledge successfully and stay healthy.
