早朝に近所を歩いていたら、舗装道路上に一羽のカルガモさんがいるのが見えました。
私が様子を見ていると、そのカルガモさんはすぐ目の前の民家の駐車スペースに歩いて入って行きました。
その後、私は振り返りながら様子を見ると、カルガモさんは道路を横断し、空き地の草むらの方へ歩いて行きました。
平日は車の通りがある道路なので、休日の早朝で良かったと思いました。
自宅車庫に寝泊まりしているツバメさんが4つめの卵を産みました。
One early morning while walking in the neighborhood, I spotted an eastern spot-billed duck on the paved road.
As I watched, the duck went into the parking space of a house right in front of me.
Then, I looked back and saw the duck cross the road and walk towards the grassy area of an empty lot.
I was glad it was early on a weekend morning, as the road is busy with cars on weekdays.
My barn swallow, which sleeps in my garage, laid its fourth egg.

Während ich zusah, lief sie auf den Parkplatz eines Hauses direkt vor mir.
Als ich mich umdrehte, überquerte sie die Straße und ging auf die Rasenfläche eines unbebauten Grundstücks zu.
Ich war froh, dass es früh am Wochenende war, denn wochentags ist die Straße stark befahren.
